Graham dropping out?
FOXNews.com: Graham Drops Out of Presidential Race
Bob Graham will hold a news conference Friday to announce that he will be dropping out of the presidential race, Fox News has learned.
Graham's campaign only has about $1 million cash on hand, causing a dire financial situation and the spokesman for Graham's campaign resigned Thursday as his staff considered how to save his lagging candidacy.
Well, whether or not it's true, he's who I honestly expected to drop out first.
Who'll be next? Um... Lieberman, I think. But not until late December.
Update, 11:20am 10/3: Hmmm. So far there's been no corroboration from other news outlets and actual
denials from Graham's campaign:
October 2: Statement by Campaign Spokesperson
Miami Lakes, FL -- Campaign spokesperson Mo Elleithee tonight released the following statement in response to press accounts about the future of the Graham campaign.
"Tonight's rumors are untrue. There is no news conference tomorrow. There is no major announcement tomorrow. Friday is just another campaign day for us. Senator Graham and his campaign team remain optimistic about his candidacy
for the presidency."
Hey Fox: retraction?
