DSCC Responds

The DSCC has responded at length to my grumpiness about their 'fight for 51.' I still disagree with the timidity of the approach -- and as I mentioned, this is the just latest symptom, not the most egregious example -- but the responsiveness is heartening.
[...] Would more be great? Yes, of course. Are we working hard and targeting more than just the tightrope walk of 51? Absolutely.

Does that mean we target fewer races and leave little margin for error? No! In fact, on the contrary, it is our belief here at the DSCC that we need to aggresively work to find and create more opportunities for pick-up. We need to grow our map and not shrink it. [...]
