VP Shortlist

Rumor has it that the VP shortlist has been narrowed to 5: Clark, Edwards, Gephardt, Graham, Vilsack.

If this is really the list, I vote for Clark. (That's today; tomorrow might be different...)

I heard parts of his (Clark's) Democratic response to the Bush Saturday radio address a few weeks ago and it starkly reminded me what a droning dunce Kerry is. Clark would help him. If he chooses fellow 'club for the promotion of progressive values' (or whatever it was) creator Gephardt I'm writing in Dean in the fall.

I would be vaguely satisfied with any of these guys except Gephardt.

If Gephardt is it, I'll still vote Kerry, I'll just be positive it's a losing vote.

Ditto what V said.

Same here.

Ditto. Gephardt=labor=loss, which is a real shame because in this country, of all places, it should be the opposite.

Have you visited the SEIU.org blog? It's a good antidote to the vague hopelessness about the current state of labor.
