The Democrats

You know what?

Maybe this is just a reflection of a post-Obama glow or something, but if the Democrats really do turn into the party of Barack Obama and Teresa Heinz Kerry and Howard Dean, I could imagine joining the party. Now, it will take years to see whether they can manage to do so, so there's no imminent danger of me having to step away from my stubborn independent-ness.

But, a political party that internalizes what Howard Dean has been saying, and what I heard last night from THK and Obama? I could probably deal with that.

We'll see....
